Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing and site structure, fixed first. For Livewire Markets we ran a full technical review and gave the development team clear guidance on what to fix.
Financial services SEO agency
SEO for financial services companies: advisers, lenders, insurers, fund managers and investment platforms. We fix the technical foundations, build the pages your buyers search for and get your content cited in AI answers. Technical and on-page SEO lifted first-page rankings for Livewire Markets by 599%.
Trusted by Australian financial brands since 2014

The problem
Banks, comparison sites and large publishers hold many of the broad financial terms. Search engines also expect more from pages about money: accurate information, clear authorship and signs the business can be trusted.
Your buyers take their time too. They research, compare and increasingly ask AI tools before they contact anyone. The clicks AI answers absorb are mostly informational. The visitors who still arrive are closer to a decision, which is why we plan around enquiries, not traffic. We explain the shift in Your organic traffic is down. Your business isn’t dying.
So we do not chase every keyword. We fix the technical foundations, pick the terms a firm your size can win, then build the pages and authority to win them. Every draft is written to pass your compliance review.
The measure is qualified enquiries, not sessions.

Case study · Australian finance company
An established Australian finance company needed to launch a new product. It had no dedicated page and no supporting content. Major banks held the high-intent terms, and the company was absent from AI answers.
We started with a technical audit and a plan for the whole content cluster. Schema markup went onto every cluster page and the site structure was made readable for AI crawlers. Target queries were rewritten as the natural-language questions buyers ask AI tools. Then we published 36 pieces: a product page, comparisons, use-case guides, worked examples and FAQ articles. Link building went to the pages that convert best.
Within seven months, organic impressions for the cluster grew 640% and average position improved from 47.3 to 15.3. Qualified organic opportunities grew fourfold year on year. The company is now cited as a recommended option on Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok.
AI search is not a separate project. It is the same SEO work, written for how people now ask. More on AEO and GEO optimisation, and on generative SEO vs traditional SEO.
How we work
Foundations before content, and content before links. Each step makes the next one work harder.
Technical health, site structure, content, links and AI visibility. We find what is holding the site back.
Crawling, indexing and architecture. Nothing else compounds until search engines can read the site properly.
The pages your buyers search for, the content that supports them and the links that help both rank.
We report on organic enquiries, keep what works and extend into new products and services.
SEO services
Each part of the programme is also a service in its own right. For the paid side, see Google Ads for financial services. We also have pages for financial advisers and mortgage brokers, and an overview of our financial services marketing.
Everything we do in organic search, and how we run it.
Crawling, indexing and site structure, prioritised for your developers.
Authority for the pages most likely to bring in enquiries.
Being the source AI tools cite when buyers research.
Frequently asked questions
The trust bar is higher and the competition is bigger. Banks, comparison sites and large publishers hold many of the broad terms, buyers research for longer, and every page has to pass a compliance review before it is published. So the plan matters more: which terms you can win, which pages you need, and what order to build them in.
On the broadest terms, rarely. On specific product, comparison and question searches, yes. For one Australian finance company, major banks held the high-intent terms for a new product. A focused content cluster moved its average position from 47.3 to 15.3, with some queries ranking in the top three. Read the case study.
Yes. Buyers ask AI tools to explain and compare financial products before they contact anyone. The same finance company is now cited as a recommended option across five AI platforms. AI search is part of our SEO work, not a separate project. See AEO and GEO optimisation.
We write with your compliance review in mind from the first draft. Content stays factual, does not promise returns and is framed as general information. Nothing is published until you have signed it off.
It depends on how quickly you need enquiries. Paid search produces them soonest. SEO and AI search take longer and keep paying once they are built. Most finance clients run both. See Google Ads for financial services for the paid side.
Organic enquiries first, then the rankings and traffic that drive them. Where your CRM allows it, we follow leads through to qualified opportunities. If rankings rise and enquiries do not, we change the plan.
No. There are no lock-in contracts. Our average client relationship is over four years.
