AskAll — Support
AskAll is a free Chrome extension that lets you ask one question across
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok in a single click.
Built and maintained by One Egg (https://www.oneegg.com.au/).
Quick start
- Click the AskAll icon in your Chrome toolbar (or press Cmd+Shift+L
on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+L on Windows / Linux). - Type your question.
- Tick the AI services you want to ask. Your selection is remembered for
next time. - Click Ask All (or press Cmd+Enter / Ctrl+Enter).
- Five tabs open, grouped together, each one already loaded with your
question.

The fastest way to get a reply is to email [email protected]. We
read every message. When reporting a bug, please include:
- What you typed (or roughly what you were trying to do)
- Which AI service didn’t behave as expected
- Your browser version (paste
chrome://versioninto the address bar to
find it) - A screenshot, if you have one
Troubleshooting
The popup doesn’t open when I press the keyboard shortcut
Chrome occasionally fails to register extension shortcuts on install. To fix:
- Go to
chrome://extensions/shortcuts - Find AskAll
- Click the pencil icon next to the empty box
- Press Cmd+Shift+L (or Ctrl+Shift+L) to re-bind it
If the binding is already there but doesn’t work, another extension may
have claimed the same shortcut — change AskAll’s binding to a different
key combination on the same screen.
Tabs open but my question isn’t pre-filled
For ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok: these services accept the question
as a URL parameter. If a tab opens with an empty input, the most likely
cause is that the service has changed its URL format. Email us and we’ll
push an update.
For Claude and Gemini: these services don’t accept URL parameters, so
AskAll injects a small script that types your question into the chat box.
If filling stops working after a Claude or Gemini redesign, email us and
we’ll update the selectors. In the meantime, the question is in the URL
hash of the opened tab — you can copy it from there.
Auto-send isn’t working on Claude or Gemini
AskAll tries to click the Send button automatically after pasting your
question. If the button selector has changed in a Claude or Gemini update,
auto-send may silently fail. The question will still be typed into the input
— just press Enter to send it. Email us so we can update the selector.
A service I unchecked is still opening in a tab
Your tick selections are remembered automatically once you change them.
If a service you unchecked is still opening, try:
- Open the AskAll popup
- Verify the checkbox is unchecked
- Close the popup
- Re-open and check again — if it’s checked, something reset your
preferences (rare). Email us with what you were doing when it happened.
My question contains special characters or line breaks
AskAll URL-encodes your full question before opening tabs, so emojis,
quotes, code snippets, and line breaks are all safe to include. If a
service truncates your question, it’s likely a length limit on that
service’s side, not AskAll’s. ChatGPT and Perplexity tend to handle the
longest inputs; Grok and Gemini are more conservative.
The toolbar icon is missing
Chrome hides extension icons behind the puzzle-piece menu by default. To
pin AskAll permanently:
- Click the puzzle-piece icon in the top-right of Chrome
- Click the pin icon next to AskAll
How do I uninstall?
Right-click the AskAll icon in your toolbar and choose Remove from Chrome. All locally stored preferences are removed at the same time.
